Hope For Kyra

Kyra is a beautiful little girl who is my friend. She is 5 years old and lives with her Mommy, Daddy and baby brother Matthew, just a few houses away from us. Recently Kyra was diagnosed with brain cancer. Obviously Kyra's parents, Eric and Candi, are frightened, but they are also strong and full of faith that their little girl will make a full recovery. We all are. Kyra will soon be headed out of state for specialized treatments which her health insurance will not fully cover. Kyra was also born deaf and has a cochlear implant to help her hear. This brave little girl is no stranger to the word COURAGE.

Our neighborhood is working very hard to put together a fundraiser benefit and silent auction to help Kyra's parents, Eric and Candi, with their escalating medical bills. If you think you can help in any way with this event, please let me know. We are especially in need of silent auction items, which could come from anywhere in the country or even abroad! Naturally we are hoping the community we live in will step up to help another member of their own community who is in need.

We have hope for Kyra, and I hope you will as well. And please, keep Kyra and her family in your thoughts and prayers. They need that the most.
